Deployment of strategies for fundraising for a digital spin-off and for scaling a parent company

Client’s Challenge

Our client, a ten-year-old Texas-based service company in the construction industry, came to inquire about our executive coaching services.

He felt that his $15mln revenue business doesn’t grow anymore and, in general, doesn’t bring him satisfaction or a sense of fulfillment.

The founder also felt that his staff did not measure up to his idea of an A-team that he always wanted to build.

He felt that due to his absence of charisma, he might fail as a leader.

Also, he started working on a digital spin-off packaging certain internal know-hows and offering them to the construction industry ecosystem in the form of subscription services, and he needed help raising funds to launch the mobile app.

Our Solution

In order to align all needs of our client, we enrolled him in a 3-month long one-on-one executive coaching program to help our client deeper understand his inner conflicts and develop a roadmap for both – inner transformation and transformation of his business.

Outcomes

As a result of DIGITOMIZATION team effort, our client is on the way to reach $30 mln in revenue of the parent company, double a ten-year revenue within a year.

He also raised $1mln in funding from accredited investors for his spin-off mobile app start-up following our fundraising strategies he was trained to execute.

Also, our executive coaching process was (as it always is) highly effective for our client’s emotional transformation. Within a single coaching session with our principal executive coach, DIGITOMIZATION founder Olga Kostrova, our client reported a complete change in his emotional state and attitude towards his business.

During coaching, our client had learned what his job as CEO should not be and how to tweak his daily routine to match a better lifestyle that would bring him more joy and satisfaction, would energize him, and bring up creativity and desire to “play” in his business more than “work hard.”

In partnership with our client, we redefined his job description and focused his efforts on high priority activities, as well as leadership and team development.

New recruiting, onboarding, management promotion, and training program that we have designed turned his average performing team into the A-team he dreamt of. He now enjoys leading stuff that has a different level of commitment and accountability.

In partnership with his coach, following what was proposed by DIGITOMIZATION proprietary transformation frameworks, our client redesigned his sales process, separating various functions within his organization.

Our team recruited and trained new dedicated business development and sales team members who the client later enrolled in a coaching program with DIGITOMIZATION to further improve their prospecting, negotiation, and sales closing skills.

DIGITOMIZATION proposed a new lead generation and qualification program and automated new sales processes to get new sales and marketing efforts aligned and perform with the highest KPI.
